Hi there, thanks for visiting this site.
I can't stand if people are trying to blame someone else for their own faults. So here are the facts regarding "Elessar":
May 30, 2005 (day 1)
I won the Ebay auction #5977530135, a Polystone statue of "Elessar" from the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy. The item was described to be "...in mint condition, sealed...":
As old items on Ebay get removed from their site after awhile, here's a printscreen:
June 1, 2005 (day 3)
I paid for the item with Paypal:
June 20, 2005 (day 22)
The seller did not respond to my payment, the shipment did not show up, so I sent this e-mail to the seller:
June 25, 2005 (day 27)
No response, so I sent another e-mail:
June 26, 2005 (day 28)
I got a response from the seller:
July 6, 2005 (day 38)
Still nothing received, I sent this e-mail to the seller:
July 8, 2005 (day 40)
No reply from the seller, I had no choice but to file a claim with Paypal.
July 9, 2005 (day 41)
Obviously the seller had access to his e-mail and got notified by Paypal, he immediately replied:
July 10, 2005 (day 42)
My reply:
July 25, 2005: (day 57)
The item was finally received, I immediately cancelled my claim with Paypal.
I then inspected the statue and found a small breakage on the statue. The broken off piece was not to be found in the box, so it must have already been missing when the statue was shipped. I informed the seller in yet another e-mail:
I descibed the damage with pictures and kindly asked for his comments and how to proceed.
